Vehicle Feature Validation Engineer

Responsible for leading validation activities to ensure robust vehicle feature performance. Involves gap analysis, test case development, vehicle preparation, and cross-functional coordination to meet program milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead feature validation by performing gap analyses and developing/executing test cases.
  • Track and manage module software for Body, Chassis, and Electrical domains.
  • Collaborate with development and test teams to ensure testability and complete coverage.
  • Manage test plans and traceability in
    TestRail
    ; report issues via
    Jira
    and
    Confluence
    .
  • Perform software updates, vehicle configuration, and component setup for testing.
  • Execute in-vehicle tests, document results, and deliver
    DVP&R
    for each release.
  • Coordinate with
    FSEs, D&R Engineers, and Program Teams
    to ensure timely validation.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Computer, or Automotive Engineering (or related).
  • Experience:
  • Junior: 2–3 years | Intermediate: 3+ years | Senior: 5+ years in automotive feature validation or system testing.
  • Proficient in
    TestRail, Jira, Confluence
    , and vehicle diagnostic tools.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems, software updates, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and multitasking skills.
