The Discrimination Law Supervisor will lead a team responsible for conducting nondiscrimination and harassment investigations, provide guidance, and perform final reviews of investigation reports and reasonable accommodation determinations to ensure MnDOT meets its obligations under applicable employment discrimination laws. Key responsibilities include:Coordinate responses to discrimination charges filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Minnesota Department of Human Rights.Provide legal analysis of discrimination, harassment, and accommodation claims.Prepare MnDOT's official position statements, clearly articulating all relevant legal and substantive defenses.Consult with and guide supervisors, managers, and HR professionals on issues related to employee discrimination, disability, protected classes, leave management and accommodation processes.Respond to subpoenas and formal information requests in compliance with applicable laws.Advise supervisors and managers on employment discrimination policies, state personnel laws, policies, and rules, and the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act to support informed decision-making and compliance.Why MnDOT?We offer excellent employee benefits, such as low-cost health and dental insurance, and affordable dependent coverage.
