Major Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide support for Chubb's PEO Programs Center to ensure policies, premium audits, and associated data are technically accurate and compliant with manual rules, Chubb Corporate Policies and Procedures, and sound premium audit practices.
  • Ensure all premium audits on PEO policies are completed in a timely and accurate manner through data analysis, risk review, audit oversight, ongoing evaluation of client data, MGA partner processing, and potential outside audit vendor work.
  • Assist the Premium Audit Manager in establishing, documenting, and implementing cost-effective and efficient business processes and procedures with robust controls.
  • Ensure Bureau Test Audit standards are met or exceeded. Collaborate with Regulatory Compliance, Claims, Unit Statistical Reporting, and other departments to meet overall bureau requirements.
  • Compile, validate, review, and reconcile all program audit data, including thousands of individual workers' compensation policies and claims review, in accordance with established procedures.
  • Consistently review and analyze PEO monthly data to identify and select client companies for formal review and/or interim test audits for assigned PEO accounts.
  • Conduct interim test audits and formal reviews of PEO client companies to ensure accurate classification and calculation of excluded exposures, maintaining digital records and documentation as required.
  • Coordinate and oversee policy audit processing into Chubb's WC System via MGA partners, reconciling data to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide ongoing support and monitoring of assigned PEO audit department issues or procedures to ensure appropriate handling of classification and exposure issues.
  • Assist underwriters in assigning classifications for prospective PEO client companies to ensure proper classification of employees at inception.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with internal partners (Regulatory Compliance, Unit Statistical, Financial Operations, business unit leaders, etc.) and external partners (PEO clients, MGA partners, TPA partners, etc.) to effectively develop and implement process workflow changes and enhancements.

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, including conflict avoidance, de-escalation, and resolution, as well as the ability to quickly build relationships and effectively communicate goals and procedures to clients and partners at all professional levels.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle day-to-day tasks and the ability to reassess and reprioritize workload as needed.
  • Self-discipline to work independently with minimal supervision, while keeping relevant parties informed.
  • Initiative and self-motivation to consistently manage multiple unrelated daily tasks with fewer short-range deadlines and more critical long-range deadlines.
