Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system or similar.
  • Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food items.
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
  • Handle cash and process payments through the POS system.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and dining areas by bussing tables promptly.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or busy shifts.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
