About Genotix
Genotix Biotechnologies is a venture-funded startup disrupting the $30B immunodiagnostics industry. We have developed an integrated platform that includes a protein analyzer, automated sample preparation stations, liquid handler, and nanoparticle-based protein assays. Together, these systems enable high-throughput protein analysis in biological samples with ultra-high sensitivity, wide dynamic range, simplified workflow, and rapid assay development—all at a fraction of the cost of market-leading products.
As we move into the next stage of product development and commercialization, we are seeking talented and driven scientists to help expand our assay portfolio and bring transformative diagnostic technologies to market.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Scientist to join our assay development team. This role is ideal for individuals early in their career who are excited to learn, contribute experimentally, and grow into an integral member of a cross-functional product development team.
The successful candidate will help support the development and optimization of bead-based immunoassays for Genotix's next-generation platform. You will work closely with senior scientists and receive mentorship while gaining hands-on experience in immunoassay workflows, reagent preparation, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
· Execute experiments to support the development, optimization, and validation of bead-based immunoassays under the guidance of senior scientists.
· Perform routine laboratory techniques, including pipetting, sample preparation, buffer preparation, and operation of automated instruments.
· Assist in antibody screening, reagent conjugation activities, and testing across biological matrices (e.g., plasma, serum).
· Prepare and formulate buffers, diluents, and reagents following established protocols.
· Collect, analyze, and document experimental data with accuracy and attention to detail.
· Maintain organized lab records in compliance with ISO 13485 and good documentation practices.
· Contribute to reagent manufacturing, quality control testing, and lot release activities.
· Support cross-functional collaboration by summarizing data and communicating findings clearly to the team.
Qualifications
- B.S., or M.S./Ph.D. in Life Sciences or related fields (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering).
- 2+ years of general wet-lab experience.
- Familiarity with common bioanalytical methods (e.g., ELISA, Western blot, or other immunoassay workflows).
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn new techniques.
- Ability to follow experimental protocols carefully and maintain high-quality documentation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced startup environment and contributing to team success.
