Job Overview

We are seeking a self motivated, energetic and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems and powertrain issues.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and prevent future issues.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive service and diagnostic techniques and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in automotive service or a related field is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
  • Experience working in a dealership or similar automotive environment is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency with automotive service software and computerized diagnostic tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and work in a fast-paced environment.
