Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Transport Tanker Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial driving, specifically with Food Grade tanker trucks. This role involves transporting liquid cargo safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. The Transport Tanker Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Responsibilities

  • Operate tanker trucks to transport liquids to various locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials.
  • Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo details.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the truck interior and exterior.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Skills

  • Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles.
  • Experience with Food grade tankers, and tractor-trailers.
  • Strong background in truck driving with a focus on delivery driver experience.
  • Knowledge of freight handling, including loading and unloading procedures.
  • Excellent route driving skills with a focus on time management and efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70, $110,000.00 per year
