Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is hiring an Office Specialist I for the Behavioral Health Outpatient Department. This is a Full Time days, M- F 8:30am to 5:00pm opportunity at our South Medical Office Building.
The Office Specialist will support the Behavioral Health Department to accurately register all patients and update demographic and insurance information for maintenance of accurate information. This position requires an individual who can multitask and obtains excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills and a previous experience in clerical work.

As an Office Specialist I, you will be responsible for:
- Providing business services for patients and the healthcare system.
- Ensuring accurate patient registration.
- Posting patient charges and payments.
- Operating a multi-line phone system while maintaining telephone protocols.
- Assisting patients as needed.
