Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (accounting preferred)
  • 3 years demonstrated experience in accounting and/or auditing
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and SOX compliance requirements
  • Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
  • ACL or SAP experience a plus

Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity for a candidate to join a world-class audit function with excellent growth potential within the Textron enterprise.  The Senior Audit Analyst will work as a key member of the audit team by performing audits of financial, IT, and compliance processes across all Textron business functions and industries for efficiency, effectiveness and adequacy of financial accounting, reporting and controls.  This position will act as a stepping stone for the candidate to subsequently take on other positions throughout Textron's many locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audit work based on established audit plans and execute the audit in accordance with established standards ensuring completion within prescribed budget and scope parameters
  • Develop/contribute to the audit planning process during and subsequent to the audit
  • Analyze and test key business processes to ensure adequate control environment has been established and financial information is stated accurately in accordance with GAAP
  • Collaborate with key corporate and business unit personnel involved in the business process
  • Participate in presentations and discussions on findings and resolutions of outstanding audit issues
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
  • Travel approximately 30-50% (the Americas, Europe, and Asia)
