Modern Japanese Restaurant is looking for experienced servers.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the TOAST POS.
- Provide recommendations for menu items, including upselling specials to enhance the guest experience.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety and handling standards.
- Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, responding promptly to requests for assistance or additional items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables and ensuring all utensils are properly stocked.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately while following company policies.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Server or in a customer service role is preferred
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and culinary terminology is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are key traits we value in our team members.
