At Martin-Ross we pride ourselves on providing top-tier security services to our clients. We are looking for a Full-Time Graveyard Dispatch Specialist to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining smooth operations during weekends, with flexibility to cover shifts for call-offs and time-off requests—especially during peak times like holidays.

Position Overview:

The Graveyard Dispatch Specialist will be responsible for overseeing dispatch operations during weekend shifts and providing flexible coverage when there are call-offs or time-off requests, particularly around the holidays. This position will also include monitoring security video systems to ensure the safety and security of the premises.

The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, be able to handle last-minute shift coverage, and demonstrate professionalism and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Video Monitoring & Surveillance:
  • Operate and monitor video surveillance systems to ensure the security of the premises.
  • Record, document, and report any security incidents or abnormalities immediately.

Weekend Dispatch Support:

  • Support dispatch functions by communicating with security officers, ensuring coverage and operational continuity.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth transitions between shifts and maintain security protocols.
  • Take requests for service and dispatch the appropriate resources following approved policies and procedures.
  • Ensure safety of field units according to Dispatch policy.
  • Track schedules, updating reports, and ensuring all logs are maintained accurately.
  • Provide professional, considerate, and courteous service to all customers regardless of who they are.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Prior experience in dispatch, administrative, or security roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with video monitoring or surveillance systems is a plus.
  • Prior security experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Skills & Attributes:
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Dependable and flexible, with the ability to step in on short notice.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications:

  • Valid License (preferred).
  • Must be able to obtain and Nevada PILB
