UW BOTHELL & CASCADIA COLLEGE CAMPUS LIBRARY

The Campus Library occupies Land that has been inhabited by Indigenous Peoples since time immemorial. Specifically, this campus is located on Sammamish Land from which settler colonists forcibly removed Coast Salish Peoples to reservations in the mid-19th century. Today, descendants of the Sammamish are members of several Coast Salish communities. A core value and commitment of the Library is to create an environment that recognizes and promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. Most UWB/CC students are first generation college attendees or are from historically excluded groups. Library staff work collaboratively to provide inclusive, culturally relevant services and resources that reflect the diversity of our campus community.

The Campus Library is positioned as a key resource in supporting the teaching, learning, and research needs of the UW Bothell and Cascadia College communities and serves a combined FTE of about 8,500 students. The Library is a critical partner in fostering collaboration and services across the shared campus environment. The Library aspires to be a catalyst for UW Bothell and Cascadia College, with agile and innovative approaches to meeting the changing needs of our user communities.
