Position Overview
The Sr. Tax Manager will oversee tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and real estate partnerships. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for high-net-worth individuals and partnerships in the real estate sector.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies that enhance tax efficiency and minimize liabilities for clients.
  • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Stay current on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential tax savings opportunities for clients.
  • Prepare and review complex individual and partnership tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional client service.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive tax advice and support for clients' financial goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree or LLM in Taxation preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax planning and compliance, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals and real estate partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
