Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their mental well-being.
- Monitor clients' health by observing changes in their condition and reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure clients maintain a balanced diet.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients, promoting hygiene and comfort.
- Offer specialized care for individuals with conditions such as dementia or autism, utilizing appropriate techniques for effective communication and engagement.
Experience
- Previous experience in home community care or as a caregiver is required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with dementia care, memory care, and patient monitoring is advantageous.
- Ability to create and implement effective care plans based on individual client needs.
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A clean background check is required prior to employment.
- Must possess patience, empathy, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
