Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced High School Mathematics Instructor to join our dynamic faculty team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mathematics and be capable of teaching a range of courses, including:

  • Algebra I, Honors Algebra I
  • Algebra II, Honors Algebra II
  • Geometry, Honors Geometry
  • Pre-Calculus, Pre-Calculus Honors, AP Pre-Calculus
  • AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC
  • Statistics, AP Statistics

The instructor will create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills among students.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
  • Foster a supportive classroom culture that encourages student participation, collaboration, and respect for diverse perspectives.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying learning styles, including those with special needs and English language learners.
  • Assess student learning through formative and summative evaluations, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a structured and positive learning environment.
  • Stay current with best practices in mathematics education and integrate technology to enhance student learning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of two years of k-12 tutoring experience
  • Proficiency in diverse instructional strategies, assessment methods, and technology integration.
  • Strong passion for mathematics education and a commitment to student success.
  • Compliance with all state and federal educational regulations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $40.00 per hour
