Cabinets To Go has an opening for a full time Warehouse Associate.

As a Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for loading and unloading of trucks and assisting customers with pickups of cabinets, flooring, and countertop products.

This position is primarily responsible for performing warehouse duties at a retail store location.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Repetitively lift up to 50 pounds loading and unloading designated trailers and/or route trucks.
  • Manage inventory, order pick and assist with customer pickups.
  • Utilize hand trucks, forklifts and reach truck.
  • Receive incoming goods, checking for damages and or discrepancies in good and invoices.
  • Work directly with cross-departmental personnel and management to problem solve and ensure maximum production efficiencies.
  • Comply with all standard safety practices, safety rules and all company rules and policies.
  • Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment including, but not limited to correcting or reposting safety issues.
  • Read and understand standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in team assignments.
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
  • Keep exterior of location clean, safe and free of clutter
  • Identify deficiencies within area of responsibility and take or recommend appropriate corrective actions.

GENERIC SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Regular attendance and punctuality are required as a full-time employee in order to perform all the essential functions.

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations.
  • Ability to follow SOP's

  • Able to work under a flexible schedule

  • Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment preferred.
