Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who embodies our core values to join our team of mental health professionals. As a NP at Commonwealth Clinical Group, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality psychiatric care to our patients, collaborating with our team of psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff. This is an on-site, FT or PT, where you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care at our facility in Lancaster and one other location.

Responsibilities:

Create a positive and supportive environment for our patients, fostering their emotional well-being.

Conduct psychiatric assessments, evaluations, and diagnosis of mental health disorders with the highest level of clinical expertise.

Provide focused and individualized care to each patient, addressing their unique needs and concerns.

Show empathy and compassion in your interactions with individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the patient and the treatment team.

Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications as needed, ensuring patient safety and compliance.

Monitor and evaluate the progress of patients through regular follow-up appointments.

Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in distress.

Collaborate closely with our team of mental health professionals.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) for all patient interactions.

Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices and emerging trends in psychiatry.

Qualifications:

Master's degree or higher in psychiatric nursing

Current state licensure and certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

Experience in providing psychiatric care and managing psychotropic medications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compassion and empathy in working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
