Qualification for Kitchen team member:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our bakery by providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their selections.
  • Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling practices.
  • Assist in the preparation of baked goods, including measuring ingredients, mixing dough, and decorating pastries.
  • Maintain food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices and ensuring all products are stored correctly.
  • Keep the bakery area clean and organized, including washing dishes and cleaning surfaces.
  • Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and monitoring product freshness.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours.

Requirements

Morning Availability must

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Bakery/ Kitchen experience
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a team-oriented environment.
