Cold Storage Warehouse/Forklift Operator

Primary Duties ( Essential Functions):

* Be on time. Willingness to be the best you can be, working as a team or individually.

* operate forklift safely.

* Work in 37 degree Climate Control Warehouse.

* Be proficient with warehouse software / scan process.

* Verify all product counts and weights of inbound and outbound product.

* Properly process all receipts of goods received and shipped from customers.

* Communicate professionally and clearly with co-workers.

* Perform daily logs/checks of warehouse equipment.

* Follow company procedures and safety policies to help maintain safe work environment.

* Maintain and document clean warehouse.

* Perform physical inventories as needed.

Secondary Duties:

* Assist with on the job training of new employees.

* Correct unsafe acts, conditions and bring to supervisors's attention.

* Perform other work as assigned.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Previous Forklift/Warehouse experience will be strongly considered.

* Be able to work full 8 hour shift plus overtime as needed.

* Physically handle the work environment, and duties assigned including cleaning.

* Perform the job duties safely with high accuracy.

* Perform work independently.

* Able to learn various positions withing the warehouse function.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

Successful applicant must have valid forklift certification or be able to successfully complete forklift certification up employment.
