About Vinyl Pilates:

Vinyl Pilates is a reformer studio opening in Logan Square in early 2026 where good movement meets good music. Our modern contemporary Pilates classes are full body workouts with high fidelity tunes spinning on a record player. It is a studio with a vintage vibe and classes rooted in strength, intention, and soul.

Studio Overview:

Vinyl Pilates believes a good vibe generates a great workout. The studio will feel like an inviting living room– warm lighting, brick walls, vintage furniture, and a Yamaha record player boasting soulful tracks. Clients will get a comprehensive workout that feels more like a hang out. We want clients (and instructors) to leave feeling better than when they arrived.

Role Overview:

As a Pilates Instructor at Vinyl Pilates, you will lead group reformer classes, deliver positive client experiences, and help cultivate the warm, inclusive culture that defines our studio. We're seeking instructors who are passionate about Pilates and excited to help build a brand from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead 50-minute group reformer classes
  • Build consistent class flows aligned with the Vinyl methodology (training provided)
  • Educate clients on studio equipment, alignment, and best practices
  • Offer hands-on and verbal corrections that prioritize safety and progress
  • Modify exercises to accommodate all experience levels and injuries

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Extensive Pilates knowledge and experience
  • Strong verbal cueing, musicality, and awareness of client safety
  • Ability to teach with confidence, professionalism, and warmth

Preferred:

  • Comprehensive or reformer-specific Pilates certification from a recognized program
  • Previous group exercise teaching experience
  • CPR/AED certification

Pay: $ $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
