Advanced Math Instructor (Part-Time)

We are hiring an Advanced Math Instructor who is passionate, friendly, and excited to help kids succeed.

This Advanced Math Instructor role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with students, building confidence, and making math approachable.

Quick Role Summary

As an Advanced Math Instructor, you will work directly with students to strengthen their understanding of Algebra and Geometry while helping them gain confidence and independence in math. You'll provide one-to-one and small-group instruction in a positive, supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide engaging one-to-one and small-group instruction as an Advanced Math Instructor
  • Teach and support students in Algebra 2 and Geometry
  • Create a welcoming, motivating, and productive classroom environment
  • Build confidence and enthusiasm for math in every student
  • Track and communicate student progress to Center Managers and team members
  • Follow Mathnasium's instructional methods and teaching standards
  • Support daily center operations and teamwork
  • Work closely with other instructors, teachers, and leadership
Requirements
  • Strong math skills through Algebra 2 and Geometry
  • Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
  • Ability to connect with both students and parents
  • Experience working with children is preferred but not required
  • Interest in an instructor, tutor, or teacher role
  • Reliable availability for afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts
Schedule & Availability

This is a part-time Advanced Math Instructor position with flexible hours.

Most shifts are in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

We are seeking long-term instructors and teachers who can stay with us throughout the school year.
