Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing processes, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient logistics and supply chain management. This role requires a strong background in operations management, process improvement, and warehouse systems to support the company's growth and operational excellence.

Duties

  • Supervise and support 3–7 drivers, ensuring routes are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Take incoming calls related to routes, deliveries, and pickups, providing timely solutions and updates.
  • Coordinate driver schedules, dispatching, and route changes as needed.
  • Monitor delivery performance and address issues such as delays, missed pickups, or route conflicts.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal departments regarding deliveries and logistics.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics such as on-time deliveries, route efficiency, and driver performance.
  • Assist with hiring, training, and performance management of warehouse and driver staff.

Skills

  • Proven experience in warehouse supervision with strong leadership skills in supervising teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain management including procurement, logistics, transportation management systems (TMS), and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms for supply chain analytics and operations oversight.
  • Expertise in process improvement methodologies like Lean or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of demand planning, production planning, inventory management, and materials management.
  • Familiarity with freight forwarding, shipping & receiving procedures, dispatching, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Ability to manage transportation planning including fleet management and freight logistics.
  • Experience with procurement activities including purchasing and vendor negotiations.
  • Excellent analytical skills related to supply chain analytics and operational data interpretation. Job Type: Full-time
