Atlanta, Georgia, United States Wahoo Fitness Full time

Department: Product Management

Location: Atlanta HQ / Fully Remote Eligible

Reports to: Director Ecosystem Experience

The product manager will work with the software services and special projects team as needed. They will own their product features from start to finish by crafting PRDs that clearly define the technical requirements, supporting the execution by attending stand-ups, representing their product in launch management, and communicating with key stakeholders. The PM of Plan & Perform will be responsible for defining and owning features inside the Wahoo App and SYSTM app that support our athlete journey: from planning your activity, performing it, analyzing your results, and recovering to help work towards our mission of helping our athletes improve.

This includes supporting and expanding on the already existing features below:

  • Wahoo App Workout Player
  • SYSTM Workout Player
  • Calendar
  • Training Plans
  • Workout Recommendations
  • Workout Library
  • Activity Details
  • Wahoo Metrics
  • 4DP Athlete Profile
  • 4DP Fitness Assessments

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Craft and create excellent PRDs that clearly define the feature being built, the purpose of the feature, and all the requirements.
  • Craft PRFAQs that clearly express the value of the feature being built, who it is for, and why our athletes should care about it; work with marketing to ensure their understanding of the product.
  • Create detailed feature sheets and points of launch that the customer experiences team can use to create support articles.
  • Hold feature kickoff meetings ahead of work to start and lead discussion on execution with engineering and design.
  • Work closely with design to build out the feature — including collaboration on UX research and providing UI feedback.
  • Analyze results of your feature release with a clear understanding of how, if, and why the feature was successful.
  • Champion each feature with a can-do attitude and be the owner of decisions around your product as challenges and questions arise.
  • Communicate clearly with the Director of Product Management and provide informed recommendations based on learnings from your product focus.
  • Work with engineering leads and QA to prioritize bugs related to your product focus.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of Product Management experience, ideally with a mobile app ecosystem.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, QA, and marketing to deliver end-to-end products.
  • Experience in the health, fitness, and wellness space.
  • Passion for fitness, endurance sports, or cycling.
  • A deep understanding of athletes and their needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly advocate product decisions to technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

What we are looking for

  • Someone who sees problems before they're tickets and brings clarity where others see chaos.
  • Someone who cares deeply about the end-to-end experience — from pairing a device to celebrating a workout.
  • Someone who communicates clearly and confidently across disciplines, from engineers to designers to leadership.
  • Someone who is comfortable working hands-on: writing PRDs, attending stand-ups, testing builds, and validating features in the wild.
