Quality Control Inspector

What You Will Do:
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our quality assurance team In this role, you will ensure that our circuit cards, electronic components, and electro-mechanical components are manufactured correctly and functioning properly. This role helps to reduce failures and delays as we build displays, onboard computing, and communication solutions that make flying safer.
This on-site position is located at our headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. It is a first-shift position, working from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You will report directly to the Continuous Improvement and Quality Manager in Quality Assurance.
How You Will Do It:
• Inspect circuit cards, electronic, and electro-mechanical components per drawings, procedures, and work instructions.
• Prepare and upload results of test and inspection.
• Utilize our ERP system.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Perform other various types of inspection as required.
What We Look For:
Required
• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must be detail-orientated and have strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to understand written work instructions and drawings.
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel.
• Must be able to use the microscope for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to successfully pass Astronautics' one-week Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies training class.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and sit/stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to successfully complete a vision test.
Desired
• Electronics assembly experience.
• Two or more years of relevant quality inspection experience.
