Indiana Hospitality Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support our hotel's HR operations and help create an engaging, compliant, and people-focused workplace. This role is ideal for someone with hospitality experience who enjoys supporting employees, maintaining organization, and partnering with leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and orientation for new hires
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR records in compliance with company policy and labor laws
  • Support payroll, benefits administration, and timekeeping processes
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation
  • Coordinate training programs, compliance requirements, and HR audits
  • Support performance management, attendance tracking, and corrective action documentation
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Partner with department leaders to support staffing needs and HR initiatives

Qualifications

  • Previous HR experience preferred; hospitality or hotel experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and confidentiality standards
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hotel environment
