Maintenance Technician

The Schottenstein Property Group is looking for a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and addressing repairs promptly to minimize downtime.

This position is on-site at the Columbus International AirCenter, which is an Industrial Office Park located on the south side of Port Columbus, offering Office, Warehouse, and Hanger space for our tenants. This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform routine maintenance on equipment, machinery, and systems

· Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues

· Inspect, test, and repair electrical systems, HVAC, and other equipment

· Respond to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues quickly

· Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance

· Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies

· Assist with facility upkeep, including general repairs and improvements

· Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficiency

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training preferred

· Proven experience in maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or facilities management

· Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical)

· Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
