Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Candidates with prior food service, hospitality, or guest relations experience will thrive in this position. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with strong communication skills, are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
• Clear tables efficiently and assist with bussing as needed
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems such as OpenTable or cashiering tools
• Maintain a clean and organized work station in compliance with sanitation standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Provide excellent guest services to foster positive guest relations and repeat business

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items and promote specials effectively
• Previous experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles, or food preparation is advantageous
• Must be able to work flexible hours including nights; prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required
