Are you passionate about shaping young minds and fostering a love for sports? Do you have a knack for coaching and inspiring little ones to reach for the stars? We are seeking dedicated and experienced Flag Football Coaches to join our team

About Us: At Next Sports, we are all about nurturing young athletes and providing them with a positive introduction to the world of sports. Our Flag Football programs focus on building fundamental skills, instilling teamwork values, and ensuring a fun and engaging experience for both players and coaches. Next Sports in collaboration with its partner Corpus Christi FC have developed a world class multi-sports complex in Corpus Christi, Texas scheduled to open officially in December 1, 2025. This will be the home of the Corpus Christi Flag Football Club.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Coaching:

  2. Develop and implement effective and age-appropriate training programs.

  3. Instruct student-athletes on the fundamentals, strategies, and rules of Flag Football.
  4. Foster a positive and competitive team environment.
  5. Provide individualized coaching and feedback to players
  6. Organize and lead team practices, drills, and scrimmages
  7. Manage game strategies and make in-game adjustments as needed
  8. Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive team culture

  9. Supervise and ensure the safety of all players during practices and games.

  10. Player Development:

  11. Provide individualized feedback to players for skill improvement.

  12. Support players in setting and achieving personal and team goals.

  13. Encourage a commitment to academic success and sportsmanship.

  14. Program Administration:

  15. Coordinate practice schedules, game schedules, and team logistics.

  16. Collaborate with the Next Sports athletic department on program development and enhancement.

  17. Communication:

  18. Maintain open and transparent communication with players, parents, and staff at Corpus Christi Flag Football Club

  19. Provide regular updates on team progress and achievements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous coaching experience

  • Extensive knowledge of Flag Football rules, strategies, and training techniques.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.

  • Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid coaching certification or willingness to obtain one.

  • Background check clearance.

  • Availability for afternoon practices and evening games during the Flat Football season.
