Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently handling materials, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

  • Operate various warehouse equipment including pallet jacks.
  • Perform order picking tasks and ensuring accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed correctly.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area.
  • Handle heavy lifting of products and materials, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
  • Collaborate with team members to manage inventory levels effectively using warehouse management systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and complete needed reports or report any issues at time of inspections.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred; experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus.
  • Familiarity with order picking processes and materials handling technique.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
  • Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, including documentation requirements.
  • Experience with warehouse distribution systems and RF scanners is advantageous.
  • Understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operations.
