Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and guiding customers through their cannabis purchasing experience. Your expertise in our product offerings will help customers make informed decisions, ensuring they leave satisfied and well-informed.

Duties

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized service.
  • Educate customers about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, and concentrates.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge through effective communication and product demos.
  • Process transactions accurately using the POS system and cash register.
  • Maintain an organized and stocked display of products to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Upsell products based on customer needs and preferences to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Handle customer inquiries over the phone with proper phone etiquette.
  • Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred; experience in a grocery store setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • Knowledge of cannabis products and their effects is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Ability to operate a cash register and POS system efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn about new products and trends in the cannabis industry.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age as per state regulations.
