THE ROLE: Sr. Network WLAN Engineer

Job Description:

  • Maintain operational support for network IT services
  • Design world class solutions for national enterprise network
  • Provide mission critical success for customers
  • Troubleshoot and analyze network-related performance issues
  • Reporting to customer on existing architecture to deliver a scalable, highly reliable network
  • Help develop and implement ongoing process and procedures
  • Staying current with latest trends in technology and the management and integration of those technologies

Required Skills:

  • Expertise with Cisco and Juniper wireless systems
  • Expertise with designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise level large, multi-site, multi-vendor wireless systems
  • Expertise in deployment automation, vulnerability remediation, updates and configuration of wireless systems
  • Expertise with oversight of a team running a trouble ticket system
  • Demonstrated success using modern DevOps methods and tools including automated testing tools and monitoring tools
  • Demonstrated ability to drive frequent release cycles (daily/weekly)
  • Current JNCIA-MISTAI Certification
  • Cisco certifications preferred: CCNP, CCIE, etc.
  • Ability to document detailed designs and MoPs

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum 15 years experience with configuring, implementing and troubleshooting networking equipment such as Cisco,HP,Juniper- routing/switching/WLAN
  • US Govt clearance will be required which we will provide background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $175, $200,000.00 per year
