You will work closely with the Government client to ensure the effective development, implementation, and management of numerous IT Systems in support of Defense missions. Join us and play a pivotal role in supporting our client's strategic knowledge management and business intelligence objectives.   Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain JIRA applications, workflows, and automation solutions.* Customize JIRA workflows, issue types, and permissions to meet organization needs.* Develop custom plugins to extend JIRA capabilities and integrate with other tools.* Configure integrations between JIRA and and other common tools. * Provide technical support and training to enhance user proficiency with JIRA.* Manage JIRA software setup, projects, permissions, upgrades, and user support.
Qualifications:
* One to two years relevant experience.* Candidate must possess an active DOD TS/SCI level security clearance.  * Experience as a JIRA Admin or similar role, with expertise in JIRA administration, customization, and development.* Strong proficiency in JIRA workflows, issue types, custom fields, and permissions configuration.* Experience developing custom plugins using JIRA Plugin SDK, Java, Groovy, or other relevant technologies.* Sec+ Certification (or equivalent) within 6 months of hire.
Highly Preferred Qualifications:
* Atlassian certification in JIRA Administration or JIRA Software Development.* Ability to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language), Jscript and Java code.* Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL Database administration skills.
