NOW HIRING PART TIME

RESTAURANT CLEANER / PORTER (30 HOURS PER WEEK)

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Restaurant Cleaner / Porter to help keep our dining rooms, bar areas, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces spotless and guest-ready, while also providing light dish support and porter assistance as needed. This role is essential to maintaining the standards and atmosphere our guests expect at One Prime.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain dining rooms, bar areas, restrooms, hallways, and entryways.
  • Perform routine sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing of all assigned areas.
  • Wipe down tables, chairs, fixtures, windows, and other high-touch surfaces.
  • Empty, clean, and replace trash and recycling containers throughout the restaurant.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of employee break areas and back-of-house corridors.
  • Restock restroom supplies and promptly report any maintenance, safety, or repair needs.
  • Assist with occasional deep-cleaning tasks and seasonal cleaning projects as directed.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and health guidelines as required by the restaurant and local regulations.

Dish Support & Porter Tasks

  • Provide light support to the dish area during peak periods (e.g., scraping, rinsing, and organizing wares).
  • Assist with loading and unloading dish machines and returning clean wares to proper locations.
  • Help keep dish, prep, and storage areas clean, organized, and free of clutter.
  • Transport linens, small equipment, and supplies between storage and service areas as needed.
  • Support front of house and kitchen teams with basic porter tasks (moving tables/chairs, setting up or breaking down service areas).
  • Communicate clearly with team members and respond quickly to requests for support.

Qualifications

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and a genuine pride in maintaining a clean environment.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying items.
  • Ability to follow checklists, cleaning schedules, and written or verbal instructions.
  • Prior cleaning, janitorial, porter, or dish support experience is a plus but not required.

Schedule & Hours

  • Part time position, averaging approximately 30 hours per week.
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required based on business needs.
