Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience
  • Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process payments efficiently while handling cash and card transactions responsibly
  • Prepare food items quickly and accurately following established recipes and safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, dining areas, and food preparation zones
  • Assist with food handling duties including assembling orders, bussing tables, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed
  • Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while promoting specials or new products to maximize revenue
  • Support kitchen operations by managing food prep tasks, stocking supplies, and ensuring timely delivery of orders
  • Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to resolve issues promptly and maintain high satisfaction levels
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
  • Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment operation to uphold health standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurants is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math are essential
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive communication abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience with cashiering or cashier responsibilities including cash handling and transaction processing
  • Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not required; willingness to learn on the job is important
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
