The Cook will work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that all dietary needs are met and that the menu reflects our commitment to excellence.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans.
  • Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
  • Assist in menu planning, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, grills, and other cooking tools.
  • Train and mentor dietary aides or junior kitchen staff as needed, fostering a positive team environment.

Skills
