Overview

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Crew Member to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the food industry, customer service, and team collaboration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting daily restaurant operations to ensure a positive experience for all guests.

Duties

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cashiering, and sales transactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing guest needs promptly.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
  • Handle food safely by following sanitation and food safety protocols, including proper food handling and cleaning procedures.
  • Assist with bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness of dining areas, and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Manage cash handling accurately during transactions, including processing payments and giving correct change.
  • Support kitchen operations by assisting with food prep, sanitation, and basic culinary tasks as required.
  • Ensure efficient time management to serve guests quickly while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and grocery store operations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings if needed.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and a passion for the food industry are essential qualities for success in this role. This position provides an engaging work environment where you can develop valuable skills in food preparation, customer service, sales, and restaurant operations while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
