What You Will Be Doing

AMMM is seeking a Proposal Management leader to provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership for a team of proposal analysts. This role will orchestrate the collection and integration of inputs from multiple functional areas to develop high-quality, compliant proposals. The incumbent will partner closely with senior leadership and diverse functional departments to ensure proposals are delivered on schedule, meet all solicitation requirements and reflect best-in-class processes and metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement of proposal processes and performance metrics.
  • Train and mentor, a high-performing, geographically dispersed team of proposal analysts; conduct talent assessments and professional development plans.
  • Oversee end to end proposal lifecycle, ensuring strict compliance with FAR regulations and internal policies.
  • Review, edit and approve proposal content for pricing integrity and compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate proposal related risks.
  • Partner with functional leaders in support of proposal fact finding and negotiations.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures, track key performance indicators and provide regular status reports to senior leadership.

You are a collaborative and results-driven proposal management leader with a strong command of FAR compliance, proposal lifecycle execution, and performance metrics. You bring the ability to lead and develop high-performing, geographically dispersed teams, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth. Detail-oriented yet strategically minded, you excel at integrating inputs from multiple functional areas into clear, compliant, and compelling proposals. You are comfortable partnering with senior leaders, managing risk, and navigating complex negotiations while maintaining schedule discipline and quality standards. Known for your strong communication skills and operational rigor, you thrive in fast-paced environments where precision, leadership, and collaboration are essential to success.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing complex proposals (government or commercial).
  • Experience with written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with understanding of FAR, Cost/Pricing Data and related compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Desired Skills:

  • Prior experience as a senior proposal analyst leading large-scale proposal efforts.
  • Demonstrated ability to summarize large volume of complex data into concise, decision enabling narratives.
  • Hands-on experience with dedicated estimating/pricing tools.
  • Experience pricing with multiple contract types (e.g. FFP, Cost Type, IDIQ).
  • Proven track record leading remote or geographically dispersed teams.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $122,000 - $211,485. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
