Position Overview
SparClean is hiring an experienced Cleaning Team Manager to lead daily operations, manage staff, coordinate schedules, and ensure high-quality cleaning services for residential and commercial clients.
This role is for someone who already understands cleaning operations and is ready to manage, not learn management later. You will be responsible for people, schedules, vehicles, supplies, and client communication.
If you need constant direction, this role will not be a good fit.
If you are confident, proactive, and self-directed, we want to meet you.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities (Manager)Daily Operations
- Arrive early enough to prepare for the day
- Manage daily schedules using ZenMaid
- Coordinate staff start times, meeting locations, and assignments
- Adjust schedules proactively and notify clients of changes
- Lead cleaning teams on-site and ensure quality standards are met
Team Leadership
- Direct staff confidently and professionally
- Assign tasks and manage workflow during cleanings
- Hold staff accountable for performance and routines
- Maintain positive morale and clear communication
- Train and coach staff as needed
Supplies & Vehicles
- Manage supply inventory and restocking
- Ensure cleaning tools and equipment are ready daily
- Oversee two company Transit vans (fuel, cleanliness, readiness)
- Use company fuel cards appropriately
- Ensure vans are fueled and stocked before the workday begins
Client Communication
- Communicate directly with clients regarding:
- Arrival times
- Delays
- Extended cleaning needs
- Maintain a calm, professional presence at all times
- Ensure client satisfaction and quality completion of work
End of Day Responsibilities
- Ensure vacuums are emptied
- Ensure rags are placed in washer
- Confirm supplies are restocked from the stockroom
- Close out jobs and prepare the next day's schedule
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Prior cleaning management experience required
- Residential and/or commercial cleaning experience
- Experience supervising or leading a team
- Comfortable making decisions independently
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Clean driving record (required to operate company vehicles)
- No criminal history (background check required)
- Ability to lift 30–40 lbs
- Reliable transportation
