Job Summary

The Door Person plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of the premises while providing exceptional customer service. This position involves monitoring entry and exit points, ensuring that only authorized individuals gain access, and responding to any security incidents. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in law enforcement or loss prevention, with skills in surveillance and conflict management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence at entry points to provide assistance and guidance to guests.
• Utilize CCTV systems to monitor activities within and around the facility.
• Document any incidents or irregularities in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Provide first aid or CPR assistance in emergency situations as required.

Skills

• Proven experience in law enforcement or loss prevention is preferred.
• Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A military background may be beneficial but is not required.
