Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and skilled Trim Carpenters to join our construction team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in various aspects of carpentry, including trim, and finish work. Candidates should be capable of interpreting blueprints and schematics, utilizing hand and power tools effectively, and performing heavy lifting as needed. This position offers opportunities for growth within the construction and restoration industries.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim, molding, cabinetry, doors, and fixtures with attention to detail
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Utilize hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) safely and efficiently
  • Fabricate custom components as needed for specific projects
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in trim carpentry, framing carpentry, or related construction fields
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry and construction tasks
  • Experience with construction estimating is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of various construction disciplines such as drywall installation (including fixture hanging), flooring installation (tile or wood), cabinetry installation, metal stud framing, roofing, siding, electrical experience, plumbing or masonry is desirable
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as necessary
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship
  • Valid driver's license preferred; reliable transportation is beneficial
