About the Role

We're looking for a
Mid-Level Electrical Systems Designer / Revit Modeler
to join our
Design/Build team
. You'll be at the heart of our design/build process—helping shape electrical systems that meet demanding performance, reliability, and cost goals. You'll work side-by-side with our chief electrical engineer, our manufacturing teams, and project leaders.

What You'll Do

  • Design Development:
    Worling independently and teamed with our Sr. engineer: Create detailed electrical designs—including power distribution, lighting, and fire/life safety systems—ensuring compliance with national and local codes.
  • Create shop drawings:
    guiding our in-house crew.
  • Create permitting drawings.
  • Constructability:
    You know your way around gear and conduit installation. You'll design with real-world installation in mind, reducing conflicts and improving build efficiency.
  • Collaboration:
    Partner closely with our electrical and mechanical engineers from concept through completion.
  • Value Engineering:
    Find smart, cost-effective solutions that don't compromise quality or performance.
  • System Integration:
    Bring together backup power, controls, and building automation systems into a unified electrical infrastructure.
  • BIM / AutoCAD:
    Work extensively in Revit and occasionally AutoCAD—proficiency in both is required.
  • Support Manufacturing:
    Provide support to our in-house manufacturing team.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical system design (data center or mission-critical experience preferred)
  • Expertise in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Practical knowledge of circuit design, switchgear, PDUs, UPSs, and RPPs
  • Understanding of industry standards and the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with system construction and implementation (we are builders at heart)
  • Bonus: past experience as a working electrician or installer.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with data center, mechanical, or fire suppression systems
