Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers through outside sales efforts, including cold calls to identify insurance needs and present suitable options.
  • Communicate terms and coverage details with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of client information to recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage levels.
  • Manage sales administration tasks such as processing policies, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Communicate complex insurance concepts clearly and effectively, ensuring clients understand their benefits and obligations.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop outreach strategies that attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Provide ongoing customer service support, addressing inquiries related to policy benefits, claims, or benefits administration while adhering to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive health information.

Experience

  • Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities to build rapport with diverse clients.
  • Familiarity with sales administration processes and analysis skills for evaluating client needs and product suitability.
  • Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve a broader customer base effectively.
  • Experience in insurance sales or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Knowledge of marketing techniques, telemarketing strategies, and benefits administration enhances success in this role.
  • Ability to handle customer service inquiries professionally while maintaining compliance with privacy standards such as HIPAA.
