SUMMARY:

Spectrum AMT, Inc. is seeking a motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician that

has a strong background in general maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive care across multiple trades.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Perform routine inspections of facilities, systems, and equipment to identify maintenance needs.

·       Carry out repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems as needed.

·       Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend the lifespan of assets.

·       Respond promptly to work orders, emergency calls, and maintenance requests.

·       Assist with installation, setup, and modifications of facility equipment and fixtures.

·       Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.

·       Monitor and maintain building safety standards, including fire, health, and security systems.

·       Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local building codes.

·       Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or projects.

·       Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·       High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.

· years of experience in building or facilities maintenance.

·       Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

·       Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

·       Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·       Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environments.

·       Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA) and preventive maintenance practices.

·       Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

·       Proficient in MS Office and other PC Software.

Preferred:

Experienced in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

·       Full-time position; schedule may include evenings, weekends, or on-call rotations.
