We are seeking a highly qualified statistician/biostatistician to support Global Clinical Biostatistics, with a strong focus on hematology programs.This role offers the opportunity to lead key biostatistical efforts in cutting-edge clinical development.What you'll do:Lead biostatistical efforts across cross-functional teams to articulate drug development questions, assess endpoint feasibility, and frame statistical approaches.Design and analyze clinical trials and interventional studies, particularly in hematology.Collaborate with teams to interpret results and support decision-making.Represent statistical considerations in regulatory meetings.Develop and deliver training for non-statistical colleagues.Contribute to infrastructure, process improvements, and represent the team in professional associations, conferences, and publications.Mentor and oversee less experienced statisticians, with potential management of full-time staff.Key responsibilities:Represent Biostatistics on global clinical sub-teams.Collaborate with Medical Directors, Clinical Scientists, Regulatory Affairs, Preclinical scientists, Statistical Programming, Data Management, Medical Writing, and others to design and analyze clinical trials.Lead preparation of materials for regulatory interactions, including analysis plans, TFL reviews, and presentation slides.Contribute to process improvement and technical working groups; author or revise SOPs and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.Evaluate statistical software and determine needs for novel methodology or tools.Prepare presentations and reports to communicate results to project teams, management, and regulatory agencies.Participate in research on innovative statistical methods and provide training to non-statisticians.Qualifications:PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics with >7 years of pharmaceutical experience, or MS with >11 years of experience.Strong knowledge of drug discovery and development and ability to integrate statistical concepts into strategies.Solid expertise in statistical analysis methodologies and clinical trial design, including experience in hematology programs.Excellent leadership, collaboration, and influence skills in cross-functional teams.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with critical thinking, time management, and communication skills.Proficiency in statistical software.
