A Day in the Life of a Personal Trainer: 
  • Show passion, purpose, care and coaching by designing and implementing safe and effective exercise programs, incorporating a variety of cardiovascular, strength, flexibility, and restorative techniques. 
  • Provide personalized training sessions tailored to each client's needs. 
  • Maintain ambitious standards of professionalism and client engagement, building long-term relationships based on trust and expertise. 
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth and development. 
  • Build long-term relationships with clients by delivering unparalleled service through innovative, safety-focused programming that ensures the achievement of client goals.

  • Conduct thorough fitness assessments and regularly track client progress to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

Qualifications:  

  • Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with members, while delivering excellent customer service with an energetic, motivating, and enthusiastic demeanor. 
  • Ability to resolve conflicts professionally and diplomatically.  
  • Baseline computer skills for managing email, schedules, and other business tools. 
  • Thorough knowledge of exercise science, nutrition, and fitness programming. 
  • Ability to demonstrate safe and effective exercise techniques. 
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. 

Certifications, Degrees &Training Experience: 

  • Holds one or more nationally accredited PT Certifications 
  • CPR/AED certified, required 
  • High school diploma or GED, required 
  • Four-year degree in Exercise Science or a related field, preferred 
  • Minimum one-year personal training experience, preferred 
  • Previous experience in fitness program design, preferred 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to lift or move 50 lbs. 
  • Physical effort required for daily duties includes lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing
