Job Requirements:

• Advanced technology skills.

• College degree in Criminal Justice, IT, or a related field of study preferred.

• Five (5) years of security supervisor experience required.

Job Summary: 

The position functions as a supervisor overseeing Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s). The Supervisor ensures:

• All post orders are followed.

• Established rounds are completed.

• Required reports are filed accurately and promptly.

• Proper authorities and clients are notified in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coaching & Discipline: Coaches and disciplines personnel appropriately. Seeks guidance from company management or designated representatives as needed. Personally, meets with employees to document coaching and disciplinary actions.

• Training & Oversight: Trains Security Officers and other company personnel. Reviews post orders and assignment details with subordinates.

• Payroll & Scheduling: Assists in payroll submission and personnel information. Ensures adequate coverage for all posts and positions in coordination with management.

• Client Interaction: Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to ensure all security requirements are met and quality customer service is provided.

• Reporting: Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.

• Post Inspections: Inspects posts and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.

Supervisory Duties: 

In accordance with applicable company policies, procedures, and compliance with state and federal laws, supervisory duties include:

• Interviewing, orienting, and training employees.

• Planning, assigning, and directing work.

• Coaching and appraising employee performance.

• Rewarding and disciplining employees.

• Addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• Making hiring and termination recommendations.

Other Duties: 

May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accordance with post orders and company policies.
