Regional Director of Operations Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional with extensive knowledge of projections, program management techniques, and a proven track record in leadership. The ideal candidate is a natural motivator, skilled at developing teams to exceed business goals and targets, even under pressure.

This individual must have experience as a Director of Operations, with a demonstrated history in the food and beverage industry. Key competencies include business planning, multi-unit operations, P&L management, restaurant management, and franchising. We are looking for a strong operations leader with a passion for excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve company revenue targets.
  • Drive the 4-wall EBITDA performance of restaurants.
  • Identify and address gaps between actual performance and company projections.
  • Ensure team adherence to brand standards and market expectations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruiting and training programs for store managers.
  • Prioritize performance issues, addressing those that most directly impact profitability.
  • Promptly address compliance lapses with corporate policies and local, state, and federal laws.
  • Approve maintenance expenses for stores.
  • Act as a coach and mentor for store managers, inspiring success across all locations.
  • Provide proactive problem-solving support for the team.
  • Facilitate collaboration and productivity within the team.
  • Demonstrate a passion for teaching, coaching, and driving better results.
  • Leverage expertise to contribute to the company's and its people's growth and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in retail store or restaurant operations management; drive-thru experience preferred.
  • At least 4 years of multi-unit management experience with P&L responsibility.
  • Proven ability to create policies that drive profitability across multiple locations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and coaching skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Expertise in designing and executing robust training programs aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Advanced understanding of budgetary concepts and procedures.

Earn up to $26,000 in annual bonuses on top of your base salary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75, $80,000.00 per year
