Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team at a dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional experience.
  • Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently while handling guest inquiries and requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations in the hotel management system.
  • Handle phone calls using multi-line phone systems, providing information about the hotel and local attractions.
  • Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Address guest concerns promptly, fostering positive guest relations and ensuring satisfaction throughout their stay.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
  • Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest experience.

Skills

  • Strong background in hospitality management or hotel management preferred.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests.
  • Proven experience in customer service, particularly in front desk roles within hotels or resorts.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems.
  • Ability to build rapport with guests, demonstrating exceptional guest services skills.
  • Knowledge of night audit processes is a plus, along with familiarity with hotel operations.
