Position Summary:

The Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA) at SpringCare Home Agency is responsible for providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy oversight to children and adults receiving services under Medicaid. The COBA/ BCBA will design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention programs, ensuring all treatment aligns with ethical standards, evidence-based practices, and state Medicaid regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments (e.g., FBA – Functional Behavior Assessment).
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment data.
  • Oversee implementation of ABA programs by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and direct care staff.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate RBTs and direct service providers to ensure treatment fidelity and ethical compliance.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate client progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with Medicaid, HIPAA, and agency policies.
  • Communicate regularly with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, case reviews, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Stay current on ABA best practices, research, and state/federal Medicaid requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Ohio (if applicable).
  • Minimum of one year of experience providing ABA therapy services preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral assessment tools, data analysis, and ABA treatment principles.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must pass background check, drug screening, and Medicaid exclusion verification.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to hire).

  • Services are delivered in home, school, and community-based settings and virtually.
  • May involve working with individuals displaying challenging behaviors.
