Construction Project Accounting Manager

Job Duties:

· Setup projects in accounting software including SOV & estimates

· Enter and route all AP to Project Managers for approval

· Follow up with subcontractors for missing documentation

· Coordinate with Compliance Manager to confirm subcontractors/suppliers are current

· Process payments for project related costs

· Collaborate with Project Managers to prepare and complete monthly Financial Reviews

· Participate in Preconstruction Hand Off Meetings

· Maintain Certificates of Insurance, BWC Certificates, and W-9's in the accounting software

· Process Notice of Commencement and Notice of Furnishings accordingly

· Review & post owner draws completed by the Project Managers

· Oversee and report on project cashflow status

Requirements:

· High School Diploma

· Minimum of 2 years' experience in construction accounting

· Advanced Excel skill level

· Proficient in Word and Outlook

· Organized & detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

· Excellent time management skills

· Ability to communicate and coordinate across disciplines and departments

· Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

· Familiarity with forms G702/G703, Affidavits, Lien Waivers

Additional Information:

· Full-time, on-site position

· Viewpoint Spectrum and Team software experience is strongly preferred but not required

· Background check and drug test are required
